Showers of Happiness

Lee and I have been very lucky. We had FIVE showers for Baby Clontz. First, my mom and sister, Michele, hosted a shower in NJ. They had it at an Italian restaurant with VERY yummy food! (The thing I miss most living in Atlanta is good Italian.) All of my friends in NJ came and showered me with gifts for the baby.

Then, Lee's mom and sister, Ashley, hosted a shower for me in South Carolina at a lovely little tea room. Lee's family and friends from SC came and we were spoiled once again.

In February, Lee's co-workers at Emory had a luncheon shower for us at a great restaurant near the campus called Flying Biscuit. We were spoiled once again with many gifts for the baby, including a gift certificate for a personal chef to come and make us meals while we are busy getting to know our little one. We can't wait to try it out!

Also in February, my department at AGL Resources hosted an afternoon shower at the office. My department put together such a nice event and so many people came to wish us well. It was nice that Lee and my mom could also attend.

The next day, Allyse Denmark and Jill Mills, two very wonderful friends hosted a shower for me at a great restaurant in Decatur called Watershed. (It's owned by the women in the band the Indigo Girls.) All of my friends in the Atlanta area came and enjoyed a yummy brunch. It was wonderful!

Thank you to everyone. Lee and I are truly touched and overwhelmed by your generosity and love.
