Fortunately, I was never this dumb

Growing up, I had a trampoline (this in the days before those silly nets) and, while I often thought about sliding it next to the pool to see how high I could dive in, I was never stupid enough to actually try it.

Test post from Microsoft Word 2007

Finally, finally, Microsoft Word is supporting blogging directly from the editor. If you’re reading this, I’m very happy about Office Beta 2. If my blog is gone after I press “Publish,” I’ll have only myself to blame for putting a beta build of Office on my laptop. Here goes.

[edit] It works! It uses the fonts from the Word version, which isn’t exactly as I’d like it to work, but it works and didn’t eat my blog. At least the HTML it generates is clean. This is very cool.

[edit] It doesn’t seem to support categories yet, but the beta release notes says that’s a known issue for TypePad (and, I’m presuming, MovableType as well). It also supports photo uploading along with your post, but I haven’t tried that out yet.

This normally wouldn't matter, but considering the rivalry between the "steamies" and the diesels on the show, there's something troubling about Thomas not being capable of self-propulsion. Or perhaps I overthink it.

Riley's first baseball game

When we left, the Lookouts were down five runs and the manager had been ejected. Ry did score a foul ball from one of the attendants at the game, but we had to take it away because he wanted to chew on it. I think the ball would win that fight.
